Ashley and Brian’s wedding and reception were held on the campus of Longwood University in Farmville, VA. They met here, fell in love here, Brian proposed here, and it was so fitting that they married here as well. See the orange maple leaves in the right of the picture up there? That’s their tree. Literally! It was beneath a tree on this same spot that Brian asked Ashley for their first date. When the time was perfect for the proposal sadly that tree no longer stood - so Brian donated a new tree to the University. An absolutely brilliant tree that had the good grace to turn itself brilliant orange for their wedding, while the others remained green.
